July Huntsville housing statistics show a strong market despite the slump that is occuring across most of the country. Take a look at the numbers.

The number of active listings increased by 849 homes or 21 percent in July compared July 2005. The number of sold listings remained steady with a 1 percent increase. The average market time dropped by 4 days or 4 percent. And the best news is the increase in the average sales price which is up $8,262 or 5 percent over July 2005.
